I truly enjoyed all the videos about web 2.0
The video on "The machine is using us" was fascinating. I never saw technology that way, until I was awaken by the video. Another video that really made an impact on me was " A vision of k-12 students today" As I watched the video, I saw the face of some of own students in the past years. I am guilty of not keeping up or integrating technology the way I should in my classroom. There are endless opportunities every single day to incorporate technology in our lessons, but we chose to teach the traditional, boring way. Maybe it's that we don't want to spend the time planning or researching ways in which we can engage our kids. Either way, technology is advancing rapidly, and we need to attempt to keep up. If not, our students are going to grow bored and we won't be able to blame anyone but ourselves.
